Blackpool Treasure Trove Project

Those of us involved with the treasure trove project have continued our sessions with Costumologists.
Continuing from our previous session, we had been asked to construct a collage depicting a "Blackpool Personality" - these came in various forms from paper collage to a superb Grayson Perry style vase made by Dianne.

This session followed on from our recent visit to Lightworks, so we took this further by discussing how we could incorporate some of the elements of the illuminations into our pop up museum.

We explored various illumination images and discussed the famous personalities involved in the Switch On over the years.

Time is marching on and we have yet to decide finally what form our pop up will take.
We discussed various options and are hoping that our forthcoming visit to the Museum of Liverpool will provide us with some inspiration for the type of display we are hoping to achieve.

We are certainly learning a great deal about Blackpool and the entertainment heritage in the resort whilst we participate in this project. The main focus now is to decide from the vast amount of available content what to include as the focus of our display.
